Senior Vice President of revenue-strategy Stefanie Rapp, has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer at Bleacher Report. In her new role, she will continue to focus on the company’s expansion and integration with Turner Sports, WarnerMedia and AT&T. One of her tasks will be to increase Bleacher Report’s stake in broader product categories, including fashion, retail, and auto, as well as maintain app growth. Prior to joining the company in 2017, Rapp served in revenue-focused executive roles at Conde Nast, Hearst and Fairchild Media.
Engine Shop and IEG announced that Gina Katzmark is joining the company as Vice President of Corporate Communications. She will lead all channels of business-to-business communications including media relations, social media and thought leadership programs across both organizations. The veteran communicator and journalist most recently served as global communications director for Nielsen Sports & Entertainment and Repucom.
Matheus Masello has joined Engage Digital Partners as its Head of Design. Masello spent three years at Bleacher Report working on content for B/R Football as their Lead Graphic Designer. He will head up EDP’s design team to start what the company feels will be an exciting year for them.
Beasley Media Group, LLC announced Lori Burgess has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer at Beasley Esports. Burgess most recently served as Chief Digital Content Officer at Beasley Media Group. Previously, she worked as an integrated marketing strategy consultant on behalf of the company where she earned a stellar reputation as an authority in content and advertising alignment. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the company’s esports business.
Jason Scorrano has joined the VENN team as Senior Director of Sales. VENN is a new kind of TV network for the streaming generation, an opportunity that proved too hard to pass on for Scorrano who is beyond excited to start in his new role. Scorrano has plenty of experience in similar roles, as he is coming from Turner Sports where he was the Global Director of ELEAGUE partnerships for almost three years, and he was previously the Global Director of Sales & Strategy for just under five years at ReedPOP.
