ESPN has added Kimberley A. Martin to their robust team of NFL reporters. Martin brings over 10 years of experience covering the NFL at both the national and regional level. Martin will cover the league year-round and contribute to ESPN’s NFL shows, SportsCenter, ESPN.com, and more. She most recently worked for Yahoo Sports as a Senior NFL writer and previously spent time as the Redskins beat writer for the Washington Post.
Tucker Roberts has joined team Nerd Street Gamers, the national esports infrastructure company dedicated to powering competitive opportunities for gamers. Serving on the board of directors, Roberts will be tasked with helping guide the company towards the future, with an emphasis on increased and equal opportunities for esports athletes. In addition to his role with Nerd Street, Roberts serves as the President of Comcast Spectator’s gaming division as well as the Philadelphia Fusion, one of the professional esports teams competing in the Overwatch League.
Leading brand experience and strategic partnerships agency CSM Sport & Entertainment has announced the appointment of veteran sports executive Matt Godbout and entrepreneur & former pro athlete Jennifer Magley to its Indianapolis office. With over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, Godbout joins CSM as Senior Vice President of Client Partnerships where he will lead the agency’s client expansion in the Midwest region and beyond. Magley will be the Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships and brings her extensive experience of executive coaching and branding to CSM.
Snapchat’s first Head of Talent Partnerships Lauren Gallo is leaving for Nike. Gallo joined Snap Inc. in the executive role less than two years ago, where she was part of a push to transition the social and camera tech company into a resource for influencers and celebrities. Gallo has prior experience with Nike where she was Nike Women’s global digital marketing brand lead for three years, but will now serve as the company’s senior director in brand creative.
Digital media company Whistle has recruited former ITV executive VP Alex Dundas to perform the same role with Whistle, as well as being the head of their unscripted premium originals. Dundas will oversee the development and packaging of new unscripted shows and also will support sales to TV networks and streaming partners. Prior to his two-year stint with ITV, Dundas also spent two years as MGM’s senior VP.
Enoch Culliver will continue his career in baseball after announcing that he’ll be a Minor League video assistant in the Texas Rangers organization. Culliver graduated from Texas Southern College in 2018 with a degree in sports management, with his most recent role seeing him work with the MLB as a replay operator. Culliver will continue his career in baseball with his new job in the Rangers system, something he is looking forward to making the most of and soaking up as much information as he can.
Former account director for Leverage Agency, Jonathan Schneider has taken the next step in his career after announcing that he’ll be taking on a new role with M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment. Schneider will join the New York-based creative communications company as their senior account executive. Schneider made an announcement of his departure from Leverage Agency in a lengthy LinkedIn post, where he reminisced on the three and a half years he spent with the agency.
