After a win, the Miami Dolphins creative video team creates a cinematic retelling that includes new angles and dramatic music to give fans a new perspective of the game.
How does this represent “Excellence in Engagement”?
Fans desire content that they would not get otherwise through tradition sports coverage. Our Cinematic recap gives fans that opportunity for new sights and sounds. With more emphasis on the content fans aren't accustom to seeing, we're moving the industry in a way that allow fans to feel a part of their favorite sports teams and learn more about the players.
Objective
The objective of the Cinematic Recap is to provide fans a new way to relive a Miami Dolphins win.
Strategy & Execution
The modern fan starts each game by watching the broadcast of their favorite team playing. After a win, they want to go back to watch the moments that excited them. Most highlights available are the standard angles already shown to them from the broadcast. The Cinematic Recap is designed to give the fan the moments that excited them in a new way. Through the use of five cameras, each manned by a Miami Dolphins Creative Video cinematographer, we follow the game with unqiue angles, TV broadcast and radio play-by-play calls, and dramatic music and sound effects to tell the story of how our team defeated their opponent. All this with the goal in mind that reliving the game doesn't have to feel like
