Weekly podcast hosted by Philadelphia 76ers Guard Tyrese Maxey. Tyrese gives the listener behind-the-scenes access to what life in the NBA is like through post game reactions as well as insight into fashion, movies, practices, team dinners, video games and more.
How does this represent “Excellence in Engagement”?
Tyrese's goal with the podcast is to showcase his authentic self. He's not in this for hot takes, or to lob bombs at other players. We know from the analytics that it's working -- Maxey on the Mic has ranked as high as #6 on the Apple Top Basketball charts. But it wasn't until this summer's live podcast recording at NBA Con in Las Vegas that those analytics turned real. Listeners lined up hours early to get a good seat for Maxey's interview with his new coach, Nick Nurse.
Objective
Tyrese gives the listener behind-the-scenes access to what life in the NBA is like through a personal "Audio Diary." The show features post game reactions, as well as insight into fashion, movies, practices, team dinners, video games and more. Tyrese also speaks with teammates, coaches, friends and family along the way to talk about their stories and perspectives.
