The Ultimate College Football Road Trip, sponsored by Dos Equis in the fall of 2021, was FOX Sports Digital’s most ambitious project of the year -- setting the industry standard for fan-focused coverage of a college football season.
The FOX Sports/Dos Equis partnership provided unmatched flexibility and visibility, offering 30% more impressions in key markets where the majority of their consumers are.

Objective: Mark Titus and Charlotte Wilder, hosts of FOX Sports digital original THE PEOPLE’S SPORTS PODCAST, brought fans together with a completely unique look at eight of the nation’s most exciting campuses this fall on the Ultimate College Football Road Trip sponsored by Dos Equis.
With live shows from eight different locations, plus additional on-site social content throughout the course of each weekend, the tour represented FOX Sports’ most ambitious digital-first activation to-date.
Strategy & Execution: Throughout September and October 2021, Mark and Charlotte experienced the best each campus had to offer in the days leading up to Saturday’s marquee college football games. Highlighting each stop, Mark and Charlotte welcomed fans for live, interactive shows on Fridays from a local fan favorite spot, featuring giveaways, surprise guests and more. Once game day rolled around, the duo visited the best tailgates in the area before heading into the stadium to experience the atmosphere first-hand.
Live shows streamed on FOX Sports digital and social platforms, including the FOX Sports app, FOX Sports.com, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, while additional content is featured across @CFBONFOX social channels.
Results: FOX Sports’ Ultimate College Football Road Trip traveled to eight of the most exciting atmospheres in College Football over nine weeks.
FOX Sports’ Ultimate College Football Road Trip produced over 600 social media posts that totaled more than 15 million views. Across Facebook and YouTube combined, almost 1 million minutes of viewership each week.
